Lesson Five: Student Choice Assignment 2

To enter into the "Rest" of the Lord means we have to be believing in order to be in God's presence. We also have to labor, or work, to receive that rest or privilege of seeing the Lord.

The generation that was in the wilderness for forty years--The house of Israel.
They were unbelieving even after miracle after miracle.
Their hearts were hardened and they gave way to sin.

This scripture in D&C clarifies that being in the rest of the Lord means being in His presence and being with Him.

Paul warned against hardening your hearts and being unbelieving.
