Lesson Six: Student Choice Assignment

+ We should treat strangers with love and kindness, being hospitable towards them; for we never know when we are in the midst of angels. We should remember those "in bonds" (or those that are poor) and have compassion for them.
(Hebrews 13:2)

+ Marriage is honorable as long as you are faithful to your spouse. Do not commit adultery.
(Hebrews 13:4)

+ We are warned to be humble and grateful in our conversations, not becoming jealous over what others have. Likewise, we are to be content with what we do have. For we must always remember that no matter what, we can always have the Lord with us, He will never leave us.
(Hebrews 13:5)

+ Jesus Christ is "the same yesterday, today, and forever." Although our trials are ever-changing, the gospel of Jesus Christ is not. It is constant and steady, immovable and unwavering just has He is constant and steady, immovable and unwavering.
(Hebrews 13:8)

+ We are sanctified through the blood of Christ, through His atonement. He suffered for our sins so that we might become clean through Him and thus able to return back home to our Heavenly Father. We should always remember Him, and His ultimate sacrifice for our sake. We ought to offer up prayers of gratitude daily.
(Hebrews 13:12-15)

+ We need to sustain and obey church leaders. For they have our best intents at heart. They "watch for your souls, as they must give account, that they may do it with joy". Thus, they love us and watch over us and desire for us to do that which is good.
(Hebrews 13:17)

+ Paul asks the people to pray for the saints and the leaders of the church.
(Hebrews 13:18)
